About materials

We appreciate you looking into donating your unwanted art supplies & other items. re:Creative runs on your donations! Currently re:Creative is seeking, but not limited to accepting, the following items:

♻ storage bins* (*highly needed)

♻ masking tape

♻ art supplies, including:

♻ all common drawing materials, (ie: paints, pens, pastels, charcoal, colored pencils, markers, etc)

♻ common art tools, (such as: palettes, carving equipment, brushes, scissors, jewelry-making hand-tools, etc)

♻ canvases

♻ modelling clay

♻ glue

♻ and much more.

We are currently prioritizing non-paper items, and items that are not larger than a bread box or heavier than 50lbs. Please feel free to inquire about donating your large and/or bulky item if you think we may have use for it and we may make an exception.

Items re:Creative does NOT accept:

re:Creative does not accept clothes, books, electronics (beyond which are used primarily for viewing or creating art, such as a slide viewer or sewing machine), kitchen supplies, food, furniture, or musical instruments. Humboldt county has many thrift stores that will lovingly accept these items.
